Hi, my name is Zaida Cipriano. I have been teaching first grade at Anthony Carnevale Elementary for the past three years. Before teaching first grade I was in a pre-k setting but I knew that was not where I wanted to continue my career. I love first grade and hope to stay in first for a few more years. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Teaching English as a Second language. As much as I love teaching, I am ready to take that hat off for the summer and dedicate my summer to being a mom and wife. I have a four year old son who keeps me very busy. I look forward to creating many memories with him. One of our favorite places to go is West End Creamery. When I am not at work or school I enjoy going for hikes and pretty much spending as much time possible with my family. I enjoy reading to my son and we really enjoy going out to eat.

Zaida, I too look forward to the summer break and focusing on my family. My kids also love to go out for ice cream. As a child my Mom would only take us occasionally to an ice cream shop so it became a special treat for me and my brother. I hope you enjoy making memories with your family this summer!
